14th IEEE Conference on eScience

The 14th IEEE Conference on eScience took place in Amsterdam, the Netherlands from 29 Oct – 1 Nov 2018.
The conference brought together leading international researchers and research software engineers from all disciplines to present and discuss how digital technology impacts scientific practice. eScience promotes innovation in collaborative, computationally- or data-intensive research across all disciplines, throughout the research lifecycle.
The three-day conference program consisted of two single track days open for all eScience contributions. There was a multitrack day with focused sessions on Exascale Computing for High Energy Physics, Weather and Climate science in the digital era, Data Handling and Analytics for Health, Advances in eScience for the Humanities and Social Sciences, and Computer Science: Tools & Infrastructure.
